“A leap of faith is a courageous act that leads to new possibilities”
— Ryan Baker
As a professional chef, I spent many years working in some of the best kitchens in the world. In 2017, after years of stress, unprocessed trauma and substance abuse, I fell into a deep depression that kept me sedentary for a year and a half. A chance encounter with Kundalini teacher, Kia Miller at Esalen Institute inspired me to begin healing my addictions and devote myself to yoga and recovery.
Soon after, driven by yoga teacher and addiction expert, Tommy Rosen, I began my Kundalini yoga teacher training with Gurmukh in 2019.
Now, seven years into my recovery, I firmly believe that a healthy and spiritual life can be found within the exquisite container that is Kundalini yoga—including kriya yoga, sacred mantra, meditation, pranayama, and community.
My coaching and classes are dedicated to liberating humans from the trappings of addiction and providing them with the opportunity to feel their best, both mentally and physically.
